"Pins for Penguins" campaign will run from July 2018 – November 2018. Order and payment will be via the Tampa Bay AAZK chapter website. If you cannot order with PayPal or Credit Card, check payment can be arranged. Production and Packaging will be 4-6 weeks from initial group order - expected delivery will be August 2018. Tampa Bay AAZK Chapter will distribute the orders to each institution.
The purpose for this campaign is to raise much needed funds for SANCCOB to help with rescue, rehabilitation, and research for shorebirds in South Africa. 90% of the work they do involves the Endangered African Penguin.
We are working with a designer to produce and package a lapel pin at cost to sell nationally. The pin is in honor of SANCCOB’s 50th anniversary and depicts an African Penguin. We are offering the pin to be sold through representatives of all African Penguin SSP institutions and AAZK Chapters. The pin will be made available to us for $3.00 and sold to you for $10.00. The $3.00 includes all production, assembly, and distribution costs.
Our goal is to have at least 1,000 pins ordered for the first order. This would allow us to donate $7,000 to SANCCOB. The more sold, the more we help SANCCOB. Our chapter will be starting with 100 pins. We hope you join us in this effort to save endangered penguins.
